Before the regatta, the idea was clear: not to document an event, but to capture an era. I spent weeks preparing—revisiting old regatta photos, sketching storylines, envisioning what emotions I wanted people to feel as they turned the pages.
The Immersion
Living the Regatta
During the regatta, I became invisible. From the first boat leaving the dock to the last toast at sunset, I was there. Camera in hand, heart open, chasing not just the action but the moments in between—the glances, the hands tightening a rope, the pride, the salt, the joy.
